Getting started

What is Berchtold?

The AI operating system for real estate teams and brokerages, built on shared context and clear controls.

Berchtold is the AI operating system for real estate teams and brokerages. It gives your team a shared context for work. People, brand knowledge, messages, and transactions connect in one place. Marketing, automation, and measurement use that context too.

Your organization sets access and review rules. It decides what agents may do and which actions need approval. AI helps you understand your work and act on it. People stay in charge of key decisions.

How the pieces fit together

  • Governance: identity, brand rules, permissions, and approval policies define how work should happen.
  • Memory: contacts, relationships, shared knowledge, and activity preserve the context behind the work.
  • Intelligence: assistants and analysis help explain information and propose next steps.
  • Execution: people and authorized tools carry out work through records, communications, tasks, and workflows.
  • Signal: activity and measurement show what happened and inform the next decision.

The operating loop is Govern → Remember → Understand → Act → Measure → Learn. Start with accurate records and clear rules. Then use AI and automation to help your team act.

Choose the work you need to do

  • Contacts: keep people, communication details, relationships, and custom fields together.
  • Deals and Tasks: coordinate opportunities, responsibilities, and follow-up. Real estate workspaces can use transaction-specific tools.
  • Email: configure sending, subscription lists, campaigns, and reusable templates where enabled.
  • Brand and marketing: maintain brand context, create and review content, connect publishing services, and measure results.
  • Assistant and Automations: use shared context to ask questions, request work, and review proposed actions.

Your workspace determines availability

Berchtold's core supports teams across industries. Each workspace must choose to turn on real estate tools. A mention of real estate in a contact, document, or brand does not turn them on.

Your role, workspace settings, linked services, and feature rollout shape what you see. The platform's direction includes future work too. These guides separate current workflows from planned tools. Not every tool is available in every workspace.

Start with your team’s real work

Choose the right workspace and check access with your admin. Add or review a contact. Confirm the brand and shared knowledge before you use AI output. Connect only the services your team needs.
