What a run is
A run is one pass through an automation. A contact or deal automation has one run for each record. A workspace automation has one run each time it starts.
Find a run
Open Automations → Activity. The table shows the latest runs you have access to. It refreshes every 10 seconds.
Choose a type to see fewer runs:
- Contact automations and Deal automations.
- Workspace automations.
- Assistant jobs.
- Connected-app deliveries.
Choose Open the run to see its steps.
Control a run
Open the automation and choose the Runs tab. Each run shows its record, its status and its next check.
- Pause stops a run at its next step. Resume lets it continue.
- Retry tries a failed step again.
- Cancel ends the run.
- History shows each step that the run took.
Only the owner of the automation, or an admin, can control its runs.
Run statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Queued | The run waits for its next step |
| Waiting | The run waits for a time or for a condition |
| Paused | A person paused the run |
| Completed | The run ended |
| Failed | A step did not work. Read the error, then retry. |
| Cancelled | A person cancelled the run |
Schedules
The Schedules part of Activity shows:
- Automations that start on a schedule or on a date.
- Connected-app processes and Assistant work that run at a set time.
- The daily check of outcome measurement.
Workspace admins make and change schedules for connected apps and the Assistant.
Assistant results
This panel shows the results of the last Assistant jobs. It shows the results to review, the jobs that need attention, the approvals that wait and the estimated AI cost.
