Set and track goals

Set one GCI goal for the year. Berchtold works back to the closings, contracts, appointments and leads it takes, and shows your pace.

Workspace settingAvailability is controlled by your workspace. Ask your administrator about access.

Open Work → Goals. Your goal also shows on Home.

Set your goal

  1. Select Set goal.
  2. Type your GCI goal for the year.
  3. Berchtold fills in the closings, contracts, appointments and leads it takes. It uses your last 12 months. It reads your GCI per closing, and how many leads reached each step.
  4. Type a number to change one. Leave it blank to use the number shown.
  5. Select Save goal.

When you have too little history, Berchtold uses the last 12 months of the whole workspace. With too little there, you type the numbers.

Who sets goals

  • Each agent sets their own goal.
  • A team leader can change the goals of people on their team.
  • Admins and people with See all records can change any goal.
  • A team's goal is the sum of its people's goals. A leader can set a team goal instead. Select Use the sum of agent goals to go back.
  • The goal for the whole team or brokerage is everyone's goals added up, unless an admin sets one.

Pace

Each goal shows a pace in words: Ahead of pace, On pace, Behind pace, Goal met or Goal missed. Pace compares what you did with how much of the year has passed. The forecast shows where the year ends at this pace.

Goals use the same numbers as the reports. See Reports on deals, leads, contacts and email.

The weekly report

Each Monday morning, Berchtold emails last week's numbers: closings, GCI, contracts written and new leads. The email also has your goal, your pace and your pending deals. A team leader gets their team's numbers. An admin gets the numbers for the whole team or brokerage.

To stop it, open Profile, find Weekly report and turn off email.
