Cloud CMA is part of the Cloud Agent Suite. Each agent connects their own Cloud CMA account. Nobody else can use it.
Connect your account
- In Cloud CMA, open Settings → API. You can also use Account Settings → Integrations. Copy Your API Key.
- In Berchtold, open Settings → Integrations. In Your connections, find Cloud CMA.
- Paste the key and select Connect.
Berchtold checks the key with Cloud CMA before it saves it. The card then shows your MLS.
Create a CMA from a property
- Open the property in Deals → Properties.
- In the Cloud CMA section, select Create CMA. For a buyer tour, a property report or a flyer, select More.
Cloud CMA opens in a new tab with the property filled in. It uses the MLS number, or else the address. Finish the report there.
When you save the report in Cloud CMA, its Edit and PDF links show on the property. A report you delete in Cloud CMA leaves the list.
Start a Homebeat for a contact
A Homebeat emails a client a report of their home's value. After they opt in, they get one on a schedule.
- Open the contact.
- In the Homebeat section, select Start Homebeat.
- Check the home address. Choose how often: monthly, every 3 months, twice a year or once a year.
- Choose whether Cloud CMA sends a welcome email now.
- Select Start Homebeat.
Cloud CMA emails the client their first report from your Cloud CMA account. The client must opt in to get the next ones. Until they do, the Homebeat shows as Pending in Cloud CMA. The contact's history records the Homebeat. To stop it, use Cloud CMA.
The contact needs an email address. Your Cloud CMA plan must include Homebeat.
See who is on Homebeat
Cloud CMA does not give your Homebeat list to other apps. To see it in Berchtold, import Cloud CMA's export file.
- In Cloud CMA, open Homebeat and select Export. Cloud CMA saves a CSV file.
- In Berchtold, open Contacts. Select More actions → Homebeat list.
- Choose the file. Check the columns, then select Import list.
The list shows each Homebeat's status, the last report sent and the number of views. Each row shows the contact with the same email, or says that the person is not a contact. Each import replaces your last list. It does not change your contacts.
The statuses come from Cloud CMA:
- Pending: the client has not opted in yet.
- Active: the client gets reports on the schedule.
- Inactive: Cloud CMA found no comparable sales.
- Unsubscribed: the frequency is Never.
- Not set up: the client was imported into Cloud CMA, but no Homebeat was started.
To add the people who are not contacts, select Add to contacts. Each one gets a contact with the name, email, phone and home address from Cloud CMA. An email that is a contact already is skipped. Adding them sends no email and starts no automation.
A contact's Homebeat section also shows the contact's row from the list.
In Claude and other AI tools
Through the Berchtold connector, you can do the same:
- get a property's Cloud CMA link (
cloud_cma_report_link); - list a record's reports (
cloud_cma_reports); - list Homebeats (
cloud_cma_homebeats); - import your Homebeat list from the export file (
cloud_cma_import_homebeats); - start a Homebeat (
cloud_cma_start_homebeat).
A Homebeat emails your client, so the tool shows a preview first. It starts only when you confirm.
