Why is my connection showing an error?

Diagnose expired keys, permission errors, account mismatches, and provider failures.

Read the connection error first

Open Settings → Integrations for a brand connection, or Profile for personal Google Drive access. Check the status and latest test result.

Check for a revoked key, missing access, or the wrong account. The service may also be down. Check the API URL too. An error does not always mean a token has expired.

Restore access

  • Sign-in connections: use the reconnect or authorization action shown for that provider.
  • API-key connections: update the key or token, save, then test the connection.
  • URL-based connections: check the account or API URL as well as the credential.

Review the requested permissions and grant those needed for your intended work. If you cannot grant one, its related feature may remain unavailable.

Avoid duplicate work

After a publishing error, inspect the result for each channel. Retry only the failed work. Successful channels may already have accepted the post.

If a connection test passes but an action fails, keep that action's error message. It may need a permission or provider feature that the basic test does not check.
